At first, when I saw you
I knew we could be
I wanted you to love
Little old me

You were so cute
With your little deck brush
But if I spoke away you'd run
So I just sat and hushed

One day you caught me
And cried and scream you did
I tried to sooth you as best I could
But, after all, we're both still kids

After that
We talked each and everyday
And slowly my love grew for you
In each and every way

And then I had to leave
For a war that never ceased
You cried, you begged, you pleaded
For fear I'd be deceased

I looked you in the eyes
And told you, hands I carried
"When I come back
We shall marry"

Then upon your lips
I did kiss
Conveying all the thoughts
Of you I'd truly miss

I fought hard
On that battlefield
A graveyard for men
Who decided to yield

The panties you gave me shown in my pocket
I glanced and yearned to see you
But I wasn't paying attention
When an enemy came out of the blue

And with his sword I saw he swung
He made a puddle of blood as big as the sea
And that's all that was left
Of Little Old Me

Ugg I know i said i was busy but i had to squeeze this in real quick. Never in my life have i ever had such a strong urge to write a poem that it kept me up until i got in written down. I don't even get that kind of inspiration for drawing. I hate writing poems! Yet i get the urge to write this.

Im so weird.

Anyway i blame CSI for this. I was listening to it while sewing my Teutonic Prussia cosplay and all i heard was "And then there was a puddle of blood as big as the sea, and that's all that was left of little old me"

That phrase stayed in my head for the rest of the night and in my dreams. Then i woke up and i couldn't go back to sleep until i wrote it down.

Anyway, i gotta get back to work. Hope you guys enjoy.
